He was predeceased by: his mother Agnes Malecha; his sister Charlotte Pliess; his stepgrandson Jesse; and his stepgreat-grandson Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Ruud; his children, Dennis Malecha (Faye) of Waseca, Curtis Malecha (Linda) of Janesville and Lisa Mokoff (Chad) of Waseca; his stepchildren, Linda Piper (Tom) of Nerstrand, Diane Flom (Don) of Faribault, Cheri Nielsen (Keith) of Lincolnton, NC and Don Bloomquist of Aitkin; and his sisters, Lallie Dahl (Vern) of Waseca, Yvonne Gehring of Waseca and Virgie Wobschall of Waseca. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren and 1 step-great grandchild.
