He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Tiede and Emma Tiede (Griep); his spouse Shirley Ann Doss; his son Larry Tiede; and his brother-in-law Rodney Rollins.
He is survived by: his daughter Jill Thiesse (Tim) of Waseca; his grandchildren, Michelle McMurphy and Justin Tiede; his great grandchildren, Karin, Katlyn, Kinley and Kilian McMurphy; and his sister Arlene Rollins of Waldorf. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church - Alma City (1891 321st Ave, Janesville, MN 56048). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at the Alma City Cemetery.
