He was predeceased by: his parents, David Cahill and Marie Cahill (Munz); his wife Ruth Ida Fell; his close friend Shirley Snow; his son Steve; and his granddaughter Emily.
He is survived by: his children, Russ Cahill of Waseca, Diane Rumpza (Bruce) of Blooming Prairie, Jody Buker (Mike) of Waseca and Bonnie Cahill (Dale Beauchamp) of Eagle, CO; and his sister-in-law Bev Cahill of Salida, CO.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
