He is survived by: his wife Delaine; and his children, Marcedes Hayunga of Waseca, Douglas Scholljegerdes (Marlis) of Waseca, John Scholljegerdes (Patricia) of Waterville, Annie Hertlein (John) of Meriden, KS, Anita Preuss of Claremont, Rebecca Bruder of Waseca and Sheila Wolters of Barnum. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
