It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Ernest Amundrud of Waseca, Minnesota, born in Grafton, North Dakota, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Amundrud and Myrtle Amundrud; his son Patrick Amundrud; his son-in-law David Kuhlmann; his grandson Derek Lucas; and his great grandchild Abigaile Christenson.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Amundrud of Waseca; his children, Richard Jr. "Eric" Amundrud (Sue) of Rochester, Amy Amundrud of Rochester and Lynn Lucas of Waseca; his grandchildren, Kristy Kuhlmann of Lakeville, Lucas Kuhlmann (Alex) of San Diego, CA, Andrew Kuhlmann (Elizabeth) of Kenyon, Austin Lucas (Crystal) of Rochester, Lauren Kuhlmann of Rochester, Benjamin, Hope Amundrud of Rochester and Gabrielle Ruether of Blaine; and his stepgrandchildren, Morgan Flowers of Eagle Lake, Stephen of Austin, Tyler of Austin and Nathanial McKee of Austin. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
