She was predeceased by: her parents, W. A. Mittelsteadt and Charlotte Mittelsteadt (Stoering); her husband Ivan Scheffert; her brothers, Gordon Mittelsteadt (Edna) and Harvey Mittelsteadt (Naomi); and her siblings-in-law, Jeanette Scheffert and Ralph Herbst.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maxine (Glenn "Denny" Hoehn) of New Richland and Marlene (Loren Schoenrock) of New Richland; her grandchildren, Leah Owens (Ryan), Chad Schoenrock (Jena), Brady Hoehn (Chrissy) and Ryan Hoehn (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Lily, Elsie, Analiese Owens, James, Ivan, Connor Schoenrock, Kinsley, Hadley Hoehn, Calvin, Archer and Violet Hoehn; and her siblings-in-law, LaDonna Herbst and Eugene Scheffert (Mary). She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
