With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merton Schwarz (Waseca, Minnesota), who passed away on October 8, 2019 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Kurth and Laura Kurth; his wife Elaine Peterson; and his siblings, Harold, Dean and Louise Cords.
He is survived by: his children, John Schwarz of Aztec, NM, Katie Ryan (Lee) of Santa Clarita, CA and Ann Schwarz of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Ben Schwarz (Adrian), Matthew Schwarz (Ashley), James Coleman (Viv Carrillo), Hannah Fairman (Mike), Josiah Coleman (Angela Sheehan) and Joseph Ryan; his great grandchildren, Blake, Emerson Schwarz, Boden and Callan Fairman; and his brother Alan Schwarz of New Ulm. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
