He is survived by: his wife Minnie of Waseca; his children, Delwin Root (Sheryl), Dawn Kraus and Donna Jorissen (Robert); his grandchildren, Jacob, Andrew, Ashley and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Vivian, Owen, Dylan, Stella, Graham and Leona; and his siblings, Leona Wenzel, Leland Root and Lyle Root (Sharon).
