He was predeceased by: his daughter Theresa Anne; his parents, L. H. Bendix and Molly Donahue Bendix; his sister Mary Joan Absolon; his parents-in-law, Theresa Geisinger Marohn and Herbert W. Marohn; his aunt Norah Oliver; and his brothers-in-law, Karel Absolon and Richard Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Katie and Johnny; his wife Deanna Marohn Bendix; his children, Katherine Youngberg of Waseca and John Bendix; his daughter-in-law Brenda of Byron; his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Carlson of Kerkoven, Kathleen Brown (William) of Shoreview and Dale Marohn (Carol) of Annandale; and his grandchildren, Henry, Oliver Youngberg, Anthony, Isaac and Leah Bendix. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
