He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lane and Norma Lane (Blood); and his sister Janice Solomonson (Ross). He is survived by: his former wife Sally Sellman of Waseca; his children, Vanessa Holmes (Benjamin) of Maple Grove, Jared Lane (Jessica) of Burnsville and Rachel Deraas (Paul) of Apple Valley; his grandchildren, Greta, Evelyn, Charles Holmes, Owen Oskerson, Jonas, Jude Lane, Sawyer and Corie Deraas; his siblings, Terri Mindock (John), Toby Lane and Randy Lane (Christie); and his friend Ches Strom (Lory). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
