He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C. Stencel and Goldie B. Stencel (Burmeister); his daughter Pam Stencel; his grandson Jacob Vandevander; and his siblings, Edward Jr., John Stencel and Ginger Gerdts.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Todd Stencel (Patty) of Waseca, Jay Stencel (Stephanie) of Mapleton and Teresa Motta (Josh) of Pinehurst, NC; his siblings, Jeanette Ragusin (Warren Moreland), Gloria Hoppe (Bill), Mary Kay Stencel and Joseph Stencel (Marsha) of New Jersey; and his grandchildren, Bethany, Shanna, Torrie, Carter Stencel, Jack, Sam Olson, Will, Cole, Sophia Stencel, Andrew and James Vandevander.
In lieu of flowers those who wish to make a memorial contribution may donate to St Joseph's Church, St. Joseph's Cemetery, American Legion Post #587 all of Waldorf, MN.
