Gerald James Thor Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2023, at the age of 85, Gerald James Thor of Waseca, Minnesota, born in Mountain Lake, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Thor and Mabel Thor (Johnson); and his sister-in-law Norma Thor. He is survived by: his wife Carol Thor of Waseca; his children, Mary Schumann (Jim) of Sauk Rapids, Nyla Hagen of Waseca, Kari Hyland of Waseca and Karl Thor (Kristie) of Prior Lake; his grandchildren, Courtney Leffler (Evan), Ryan Schumann (Colleen), Hank Hagen, Joe Hagen, Ellen Hagen, Jack Hyland, Sam Hyland, Emma Thor, Grace Thor and Olivia Thor; his great grandchildren, Poppy, Brody, Sonny and Lolly; and his brother Marvin Thor.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org) which Gerald considered a most deserving cause.
