It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Felix Kubat of Waseca, Minnesota, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kubat and Elizabeth Kubat (Kubichek); and his siblings, George Kubat and Julie Spinler. He is survived by: his wife Gail Kubat of Waseca; his children, Tami Heagy of Waseca, Robert Kubat (Jodi) of New Prague and Michael Kubat (Kasondra) of Waseca; his grandchildren, Jacob Heagy (Lexi), Jessica Heagy, Kalli Heagy (Jesse Behr), Johnathan Heagy, Kailea Kubat, Kristin Kubat, Kaleb Kubat, Kendra Kubat, Kaitlyn Kubat, Kyle Kubat and Keith Kubat (Kim Izaguirre); his great grandchildren, Carson and Grayson Heagy; and his sisters, Betty Bennett of Zumbrota, Lorraine Jirele of Owatonna and Margaret Deml (Jim) of Ellendale.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (111 4th St NW, Waseca, MN 56093). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sacred Heart Endowment Fund.
