She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Blasing and Alma Blasing (Tietz); her husband Gordon Flaten; her brother Arnold Blasing; and her nephew Jon Blasing.
She is survived by: her children, Girl Scout, Pam Born (Dennis), Claudia Wobschall (Dane) of Waseca, Andrea Flaten-Peter of Farmington, Jeffrey Flaten (Mary) of Savage, Larry Flaten (Barbara) of Janesville and Christopher Flaten (Remy) of Fridley; and her sisters-in-law, Ginger Blasing of Pine Island and Phyllis Horejsi (Arnold) of Lonsdale. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
