She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Lutz and Elsie Lutz; her husband Dale Eugene Benedict; her sister Geraldine Braun; her parents-in-law, Ethel and Page Benedict; and her siblings-in-law, Vivian LeBrun, MaryJane Bair, Eva Hughes, Allen Braun and Tom Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Benett (Robin) of Peyton, Janice Cords (Bob) of Waseca, Joyce Umstead (Monte) of Eagle Grove, Patti Benedict (Bob) of Janesville, Lynn Strunk (Bruce) of Waseca and Diane Koziolek (Mark) of Janesville; her grandchildren, Matthew Benett (Clarisa), Amanda Benett, Traci Hodgkins (Dave), Tyler Cords (Kallie), Valarie Webb (Chris), Andrew Erdman (Rachel), Lucas Umstead (Elizabeth), Jeston Umstead (Jamie), Janelle Berg (Nick), Jacob Witt (Brandi), Nathan Witt, Reva Strunk (Dylon) and Mara Strunk (Nick); her great grandchildren, Henry, Oliver Benett, Bailey, Gavin Hodgkins, Joshua, Lindsey Webb, Riddley, Olive Erdman, Raevyn Umstead, Braydon Cousins, KayleAhna and Jamison Berg; and her sister Bernita Schabert (Robert) of Courtland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
