He was predeceased by: his father Karl Youngberg; and his pet Panzer. He is survived by: his mother Lucille Youngberg (Schauer) of Waseca; his wife Debra Youngberg; his children, Oliver Youngberg (Kendra) of Mankato, Henry Youngberg of Stevens Point, WI and Brianna Nelson of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Rory and Khobi Peck; his brother Kent Youngberg (Lisa) of New Jersey; and his pet Louie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
