It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brooke Elsa Spurgeon (Waseca, Minnesota), who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Bill and Hazel Olson; her aunt Elsa Olson; and her nephew Alex Karsten. She is survived by: her parents, John W. Olson (Jenelle) of Ellendale and Linda A. Olson (Cornelius) of Morristown, MN; her daughter Rilyn Spurgeon of Ellendale; her siblings, Christopher "Bud" Olson (Emily Colonna) of Ellendale and Bobbi-Jo Nesseth (Brandon) of Owatonna; her nieces and nephews, John, Katie, Josie, Nora Olson, Evan Karsten and Lilly Nesseth; her stepsiblings, Mindy Jimenez (Wes), Stacy Johnson, Samantha Johnson, Shane Miller (Amanda), Alex Seeger, Kalley Greseth (Caleb) and Kadey Seeger; her grandparents, Eugene and Berniece Cornelius of Ellendale; her aunts and uncles, Raymond Olson of Ellendale, Jeanette Schwartz of Waterville, Jeff Cornelius (Julie) of Geneva, Pam Muri (Brian) of Geneva and Sue Wehr (Dennis) of Waterville; and also, Matt Spurgeon of Owatonna and James.
