He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Duane Haakinson and Gordon Bartelt; and his aunt Lola Fennert. He is survived by: his parents, Barry Bartelt (Deb Ireland) and Nina Bartelt (Haakinson); his wife Cassie Birr; his stepchildren, Jackson, RoseMary and Caitlyn; his grandmothers, Faye Haakinson (Evans) and Louise Bartelt (Schweer); his sister Amy Bennett (Marc); his niece Johannah; and his uncle Gary. He is also survived by other loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
