Velma Lund Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Lund (Warroad, Minnesota), born in Pembina, North Dakota, who passed away on March 15, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Langton and Mary Langton (Copeland); her husband Clarence Lund; her daughter Christina; her son-in-law Jeffrey Sorrels; and her sisters, Annie Olson and Audrey Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Holmgren (Van) of Pelican Rapids, MN, Susan Aune (Raymond) of Gatzke, MN, Joseph Lund (Judith) of Warroad, Ronald Lund (JoAnne) of Warroad, Janet Olson (Calvin) of Warroad and Della Knutson (Kurt) of Warroad; and her siblings, Ronald, Leslie and Garry Langton. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorials be made to the Swift Ladies Aid at Zion Lutheran Church or the Williams Senior Center.
