He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jane Evans; and his daughter Suzy Evans Winkel. He is survived by: his children, Bob Evans (Sheryl) of Warroad, MN and Jenane Evans Rogers of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Daniel Evans (Karissa) of Bemidji, MN, Samantha Mitterling (Aaron) of Moorhead, MN, Nathan Winkel (Rachel) of Morrison, CO, Brandon Winkel (Krista) of Edina, MN, Marinda Lechtenberg (Charlie) of Fairbault, MN and Thomas Rogers (Lea Walberg) of San Antonio, TX; and his son-in-law Russell Winkel. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
