He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jesme and Alma Jesme; his brothers, Brother Curtis Jesme and Donald Jesme; his grandson Gaberial Jesme; and his son-in-law Matthew Byfuglien.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Storey; his children, Gordon Jesme (Barbara) of McHenry, IL, Steven Jesme (Angie) of Dilworth, MN, Denise Ganyo (Jack) of Warroad, MN and Stacy Isaacson (Ike) of Healy, AK.; his sister Joyce Strickland of Benson, NC; his sister-in-law MaryAnn Jesme of Roseau, MN; his grandchildren, Casey, Jamie, Katie, Krystopher, Zabrina, Jazmyn, Keyen, Emma, Bronson, Oliver, Danielle and Trevor; and his great grandchildren, Atley, Ava and Gianna. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Helgeson Funeral Home (506 Main Ave NE, Warroad, MN 56756). A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1301 Nelson St NW, Warroad, MN 56751).
