He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Shaugabay and Francis Shaugabay (Bellanger); his children, Robert Monnell and Lisa Shaugabay; his siblings, Margaret, Evonne, Richard and William (Bill); and his brothers-in-law, Rodney Hamlin and Larry Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Shaugabay of Warroad, MN; his son Eric Shaugabay (Suzi) of Warroad; his grandchildren, Gage, Jori, Anders Shaugabay of Warroad, Adam Shaugabay (Abigal) of Grand Forks, ND and Amanda Molash of Warroad; and his sister Chris Hamlin of Warroad. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
