She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Battles (Oliver) and Clinton Everett Battles; her significant other Vernon; her son-in-law Fred; her grandson Kyle; her parents-in-law, Forrest "Shorty" Henderson and Vernabelle Henderson (Johnston); and her siblings, Wesley Battles, Violet (Vernon Thompson), Eugene (Betty Battles), Dennis Battles and Pat (Henry Landin).

She is survived by: her children, Yvette Johnson-Warroad (Lyle), Vonda De Molée-Warroad, Brad Nash (Michelle) and Mitch Nash (Char); her grandchildren, Rachel (Angie), David (Sara), Antwan (Nicole), Jonathon, Jeffery (Jana), Bryce (Brittany), Roxanne (Justin), Kelsey (David), Robert (Kali), Krysta, Georgia, Allyssa and Lincoln; and her great grandchildren, Victoria, Ivan, Olivia, Charles, Gavin, Arianna, Jaisley, Liam, Jazmine, Axel, Kason, Kayden and Baya.

Dale Loeffler wrote a sympathy message

“I worked closely with Marie at Marvin. I am in outside sales in Minneapolis. Marie was so good with our dealers and they all loved her. I remember bringing her around to our dealers when she retired. She was crying as we left one of them. Marie was the best inside salesperson I ever knew at Marvin. She will be missed. Dale Loeffler”
