He is survived by: his wife Brenda Remme; his children, Joe McFarlane (Kimberly), Jackie Merriman (Reid) of Warroad, MN and Katie Rother (Tyler) of Warroad, MN.; his grandchildren, Brody, Clara, Charlie, Graham, Evie, Mollie and Emmie; his siblings, Sherry Kliewer (DeWayne) of West Linn, OR, Lane Heagy (Ron) of Cathlamet, WA, Craig McFarlane (Kim) of Warroad, MN, Reed McFarlane (Blanche) of Port Aransas and Bradley McFarlane of Cass Lake, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Roberta Remme and Mary Solberg of Greenbush, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
