She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Miller and Dorothy Miller; her foster son Steven Reck; her husband Kenny Basher; and her granddaughter Toni Sapa.
She is survived by: her foster daughters, Daisy Poppenhagen and Mary Lala; her children, Revel Sapa (Doug) of Cavalier, ND, Scott Heggestuen of Fargo, ND, John Schlittenhard (Stacey) of Deridder, LA and Becky Thompson (Tony) of Warroad, MN; her grandchildren, Nicolle Kemnitz (Nathan), Tiffani Byrd-Sapa, Ryder Heggestuen, John Robert Schlittenhard, Bryan Schlittenhard (Joelynn), David Schlittenhard, Caleb Schlittenhard and Padyn Thompson; and her sister Jan Pellis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
