He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Ganyo and Ione Ganyo; his sisters, Bunnie Foster and Cathi Erickson; his nephew Jon Grover; his parents-in-law, Helen and Harry Thompson; and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Grover, Wagg Erickson, Douglas and David Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thompson of California; his son Britton; his siblings, Patricia Grover (Roseau) and Richard (Margaret); and his siblings-in-law, Debra, Robert Storey (Warroad), David Foster (Malung) and Elsie Thompson (Washington). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
