He is survived by: his mother Eileen Baird (Myrfield); his wife Kaye Smidt of Warren, MN; his stepchildren, Kristi Hillman (Jason) of Warren, MN and Brian Smidt of St. Paul, MN; and his siblings, Bob Baird (Jackie) of Warren, MN and Linda Giedd (John) of Grand Forks, ND. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
