With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Nelson (Warren, Minnesota), who passed away on April 2, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Luther; her parents, William Holst and Matilda Holst (Daeffler); her sister Irene; and her brothers-in-law, Oscar Fosholm, Bernie Diercks, Vernon Swan, Palmer Nelson and Orville Nelson.
She is survived by: her friend Luther Nelson; her children, David Nelson (Polly) of Bismarck, ND and Diane Montplaisir (Dennis) of Hamel, MN; her grandchildren, David Paul Nelson (Jen), Kirsten Wald (Corey), Brian Nelson, Brent Nelson (Ashley), Matthew Monplaisir and Amanda Montplaisir; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Molly and Lucy.
