He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rittmann and Phyllis Rittmann (Miller); and his siblings, Roger and Toni Borwege. He is survived by: his wife Mary Henningsgaard; his children, Gopher, Rebecca Smith (Cory), Kelli Kopp, Sarah Waline-Rittmann, Julie Rittmann and Erich Rittmann; his niece Lisa; his nephews, Jason and Mike; and his former wife Karen. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
