He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Nelson and Lillian Nelson (Vary); his former wife Carolyn Harstad; his wife Lucille Hipsher; his children, Lee Nelson (Kris), Keith Nelson (Terri), Jerry Nelson and Ken Nelson (Becky); his son-in-law Ken Frank; his siblings, Larry Nelson (Doris), Gary Nelson and Alice Knutson; his children, Lonnie and Sherrie Frank; his grandchildren, Jeff Nelson and Lily Nelson; and his siblings, Lawrence, LaVerne, Duane, Marion, Hazel and Eileen. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
