He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Nelson and Crystal Nelson (Ivery); and his siblings, Maxine Drake, Grace Nelson, Margorie Davis and Cliff Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Larson; his children, David Nelson (Stacie) of Warren, MN, Jill Johnson (Bryan) of Beatty, SK and Janelle Van Dorn (Doug) of Dacono, CO; his grandchildren, Emily, Courtney, Kylie, Dalton Nelson, Bailey Wicks (Jared), Lyndon Johnson, Brooke Nickel (Jake), Alesha, Breanna, Annika and Elianna Van Dorn; his great grandchild Reyha Grose; and his siblings, Margaret Tyree (Sam), Kurt Nelson, Muriel Scofield (Bill) and Marlene Shimpa (Allan).
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Warren Covenant Church (112 N 6th St, Warren, MN 56762). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
