She is survived by: her husband Wilbur "Bud" Schantzen; her son Jay Schantzen (Kristin); her grandchildren, Isabella, Mira and Maximus; her sister Joan Engelstad; her stepsons, Robert McGlynn (Jane) and Kendall McGlynn (Luann); and her stepgrandchildren, Susan Timmer, Jim Beck, Steve McGlynn and Becki McGlynn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
