He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Markuson and Esther Markuson (Wiederrich). He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Julia; his grandson Jordan Matthew; his wife Shirley Ann Meyer; his daughters, Liz Markuson and Ruth Markuson; his grandson Jordan McGowan; and his brother Dennis Markuson (Sandy). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Dean's family requests memorials be made to a local non-profit in his memory.
