With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darin James Kolness of Warren, Minnesota, born in Moorhead, Minnesota, who passed away on July 31, 2023 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Leydon "Laddie" Kolness; his grandparents, Sherman, Mildred Kolness, Wilbur and Grace Cotton; his uncles, Billy Kolness, Donovan Kolness, Jerome Landgaard and Art Grothmann; his nephews, Andrew and Nicholas Kolness; his aunt Debbie Kolness; and his close friend Jim Leidberg.
He is survived by: his mother Beverly Kolness (Cotton); his siblings, Mike Kolness (Cathy), Jason Kolness (Samantha), Angie Nelson (Matt) and David Kolness (Jessie); his nieces and nephews, Laura Mitteness (Mark), Katie Staebler (Eric), Megan Lindgren (Daniel), Michael Kolness (Megan), Lily, Max Kolness, Connor Nelson, Katelyn, Liam, Sawyer and Joy Kolness; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan, Miley Mitteness, Beckham Lindgren and Aiden Kolness. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Memorials are preferred to Halstad Living Center.
