She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Deere and Dorothy Deere; and her siblings, Vyrlee and Jeanne. She is survived by: her pets, Alfie, Duffy, Sunny, Reggie, Sally, Maddie, Jimmy and Billie; her children, Gretchen Mattson of Minneapolis, Bethany Mattson of St. Louis Park and Kelly Mattson of Warren; her husband Bob Mattson; her granddaughter Molly Smith (Alexander) of Burnsville, MN; her great grandchildren, Eve and Audrey; her sister Beverly of Kennedy, MN.; and also, Kitty and Rosie.
