He was predeceased by: his father Mark Avery; his grandparents, Lloyd, LaVonne Avery, John and Elaine Hanson; and his cousin Johnathon Lowery.
He is survived by: his mother Vicky Avery (Hanson) of Wanamingo; his children, Jordyn Deblaay (Greysen) of Kasson and Rylan Avery of Kasson; his close friend Erin Fjerstad of Wanamingo; his siblings, Heidi Mueller (Tony) of Ramsey, Heather Avery Overson of Mantorville and Mark "Tony" Avery (Jamie) of West Concord; his stepchildren, Dylan Fitzpatrick (Makayla) of Rochester and Kirsten Schultz (Matt) of Waltham; and his grandchildren, Weston, Hazel Deblaay, Bryant, Maverick, Logan, Eli Fitzpatrick and Waylon Schultz.
