She was predeceased by: her parents, August Banitt and Lilly Banitt (Brunckhorst); her husband Ernest; and her siblings, LeRoy Banitt, Violet Stiller (Elmer), Eileen Groth (Leonard) and Lucille Mehrkens (Clarence).
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Ohnstad of Wanamingo, Janet Roraff (Dan) of Owatonna, Daniel Ohnstad (Jennifer) of Goodhue and Julie Drewitz (Matthew) of Mankato; her grandchildren, Rebecca Walters, Angela Buytart, Joel Ohnstad, Samuel Ohnstad, Isaac Ohnstad, Reed Roraff, Nathan Ohnstad, Elijah Ohnstad, Katy Ohnstad, Nicole Ohnstad, Jack Drewitz, Abraham Ohnstad and Elisabeth Ohnstad; and her sister-in-law Mary Banitt. She is also survived by fifteen great- grandchildren.
