He is survived by: his parents, Darrell Sturgis and Geraldine Sturgis of Rochester; his wife Cindy Churchward; his sons, Tanner and Thomas; his siblings, Ron Sturgis (Helen) of Rochester, Kathy Little (Stan) of Rapid City, SD, Marie Schmitt (Jerry) of Wanamingo, Joan Marcel of Wanamingo, Bernard Sturgis (Jean) of Rochester, Rose Julian (Kurt) of Rochester, Sue Moechnig (Dwayne) of Wanamingo, Peggy Allen (Jeff) of Rochester, Janet Howard of Rochester and John Sturgis (Lisa) of Zumbro Falls; his siblings-in-law, Frank Churchward of Chatfield, Charles Churchward of Owatonna, Joan Phelps of Kasson and Sharon Sharp of Pullman, WA; and also Joe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
