He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Rechtzigel and Ella Rechtzigel (Kirchner); and his siblings, Leonard Jr., Marvin, Arthur, Robert, James, Shirley (Kermit) and Doris (Arnold).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Schwanz; his children, Dana (Stefan), Tony (Barb), Troy and Dan; his grandchildren, Aria, Lucas, Angela (Christopher), Sean (Ashley), Phylicia (Micah), Noah, Kate and Markus; his great grandchildren, Luna, Gus, Jack and Maisie; his brothers, Paul (Sharon) and Jerome (Karen); his sisters-in-law, Donna, Delores, Lois and Judy (Adam); and his friends, Tom and Donna McCloud.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to an organization of the donor's choice.
