It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Wayne Wallaker of Wanamingo, Minnesota, born in Rochester, Minnesota, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Red" Melroy Wallaker and Geraldine Delores Wallaker (Schaefer); and his sister Debra McWaters. He is survived by: his wife Linda Wallaker of Wanamingo; his children, Lori Shelstad (Shawn) of Kenyon and Jeremy Wallaker of Wanamingo; and his siblings, Nancy Raths (Jim Kittelson) of Wanamingo, LaRita Brown (Jim) of Zumbrota, Cheryl Moreland (Merlin) of Dodge Center, Teresa Lawson of Zumbrota, Brenda Harvey (Jack) of Hager City and Steven Wallaker of Rosemount. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 ½ great-grandchildren.
