We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2018, at the age of 76, Barbara Marie Nelson (Wanamingo, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlyn Swanson and Ione Swanson (Freeberg); and her brother Scott Swanson. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Sara Carlson (David) and Eric Nelson (Lisa); her grandsons, Joseph (Libby), Andrew (Rachel), Phillip Carlson (Lindsey), Jacob (Emily), Sam, Isaac, Luke (Amy) and John Nelson; her great grandchildren, Bear, Irie, Grimm and Finnley Carlson; and her siblings, Doug (Sue), Steve (Linda), Todd Swanson (Kathy) and Virginia DeGaetano (John). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
