It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Opal Rachel Heydt of Waltham, Minnesota, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fayette Pick and Mabel Pick (Bailey); and her husband Kenneth Heydt. She is survived by: her sons, Donald Heydt of McAllen, TX, Lowell Heydt (Linda) of Lake Crystal, MN and George Heydt (Rita) of Hayfield, MN; her grandchildren, Kera, Todd, Adam, Tonia, Terry, Nathan and Megan; her brother Ray Pick of Elgin, MN; and her sister-in-law Mary Smith of Bloomington, MN.. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
In accordance with Opal's wishes, her body was donated to the Mayo Clinic Bequest Program.
