She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Otterbein and Ruth Otterbein; her husband Terry LaVere Sawyer; her siblings, Bob, Ronald and Sharon; her grandson Shathen; and her stepgrandson Cade.
She is survived by: her brothers, Larry, Loren (Marilyn), Norman (Kathy), Norbert (Diana) and Wayne (Pam); her sisters-in-law, Linda Hansen (Larry) and Vicki Berthiaume (Jim); her nieces and nephews, Kevin (Nicole), Kyle (Karen) and Keith (Dedra); her grandchildren, Riley, Cody (Jessica) and Derek (Kiana); her stepgrandchildren, Trea, Britney, Layton, Lyndsay, Jacob and Nickki; and her great grandchildren, Grayson, Decklyn, Cayden, Cash, Knox and Anderson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Paola Senior Center (121 W Wea St, Paola, KS 66071).
