He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Honer (Potthoff) and Waldemar F. Honer; his brother Wayne Honer; and his pets, Slope, Chelsea, Meg and Razz.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Hallbeck; his children, Tessa Capelle (Randy) of Nisswa, Kathryn Hadrava (Jeremy) of Laporte and Franklyn Honer of Nisswa; and his siblings, Fred Honer, Michelle Carlson, Lance Honer, Pamela Eller, John Honer and Randy Honer. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
