He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Paula Olson (Haugen); his daughter Kristen Velasco; his grandchildren, Emily, Alejandra, Madison and MacKenzie; his son Freedom Olson; his stepchildren, Josh Strobel (Jeannie), Jordan Strobel (Tara) and Jonathan Strobel; his grandchildren, Lance and Vera; his mother Gloria Adkisson (Aamodt); his sisters, Sharon Fox (Donald) and Patrice Welsh; his nieces and nephews, Ursula, Nicole, Daniel and Caske; and his father Russell Olson.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Onigum Community Center (8825 Onigum Rd NW, Walker, MN 56484).
