He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Ihrke (Mc Dougall) and Wilmer Ihrke; his wife Kathy; his parents-in-law, Marie and Harold McMahan; his sister Maxine Vrieze; and his children, Korrine "Korrie" Krause and William "Bill" Ihrke.
He is survived by: his children, Donald (Donna) of Richmond, MN, Daniel (Michelle) of Laporte, MN, Chad (Candace) of Walker, MN and Julie Ihrke of Alturas, CA; his son-in-law Dave Krause of Chippewa Falls, WI; his sister Patricia Jacobson (Denny) of Eyota, MN; and his close friend Linda Smith of Grand Rapids, MN. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
