He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth (Hirshfield); his grandson Bjorn Heidelberg (Tui); his parents, Evelyn Heidelberg (Chauvin) and Kasper Heidelberg; and his siblings, Richard and Betty.
He is survived by: his children, Heidi Heidelberg, Gretchen Taatjes, Katy Bourne (Peter), Frank Heidelberg (PJ) and Suzanne Anderson (Tim); and his brother Denny. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20. 5 great-grandchildren, 10 nieces and nephews.
