It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Felton Dowson of Walker, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Dowson and Peg Dowson; and his brother Dale (Marlene). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Winkelman of Sheriff's Office; his daughters, Kimberly Fagerman (Doug) and Michelle Dowson (Curt Geiger); his stepson Jeffrey Dowson of Walker; and his grandchildren, Lindsey, Amanda and Daniel. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Hope Lutheran Church or the Cass County Sheriff's Office designated to either the Honor Guard or the Canine Unit.
