It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Olson of Walker, Minnesota, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Olson and Viola Olson (Plankers); his wife Heidi Eckman; his siblings, Lorraine Field and Donald Olson; his granddaughter Kayla; and his great grandchild Chloe.
He is survived by: his son Ken; his friend Kevin; his children, Kenneth Olson (Emily) and Tammy Artley (Paul, Sr.); and his grandchildren, Paul Jr., Matthew, Kameron, Sara, Gage and Morgan.
A funeral service for family only, due to Covid 19, will be held at the Community Church of Walker on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to the service. The service will be livestreamed.** Masks and social distancing will be enforced.
