It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Leroy Bloomquist of Walker, Minnesota, born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Bloomquist (Woolbert) and Leroy "Bud" Bloomquist; his uncle Tubby; his brothers-in-law, Richard "Dickie" Bialke and Don Mercer; and his nephew Kelly Mercer (Jodie).
He is survived by: his daughters, Carrie Dody of Walker, MN and Emily Bloomquist of Duluth, MN; his sisters, Carol Mercer and Janice Bialke; his granddaughters, Ashlin Elling and Cierra Dody; and the mothers of child, Emily and Patty Pence. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
